Official Rules & Terms

1. Sponsor

The Halloween 2026 Pawprint Plus Giveaway ("Giveaway") is sponsored and administered by Florida Pet Directories LLC ("Sponsor"), operating through its network of 11 Florida pet communities.

2. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway begins on October 31, 2026, upon publication of the official Facebook giveaway announcement and ends on November 2, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time.

Entries received after the deadline will not be eligible.

Winners will be selected and announced on November 6, 2026.

3. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Florida who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.

Employees, owners, and immediate family members of Florida Pet Directories LLC are not eligible.

Participants must have a valid Facebook account and comply with Facebook's applicable terms.

The Giveaway is void outside Florida and wherever prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

To participate:

Locate the official Halloween Giveaway post published by Florida Pet Directories on Facebook.
Comment on the post with a Halloween-themed photograph of your pet. Costumes are welcome but not required.
Include your pet's name and the Florida city where you reside.

Limit one entry per person. Multiple pets may appear in one photograph, but additional photographs or comments will not increase the participant's chances of winning.

No purchase, paid membership, page follow, like, share, or referral is required.

Entries must be submitted during the official Giveaway Period.

Participants must own the submitted photograph or have permission to share it. Photographs must not infringe upon another party's rights or contain unlawful or inappropriate content.

5. Prizes

A total of 25 winners will each receive one complimentary annual Pawprint Plus membership.

Prize value per winner: $20
Membership duration: 12 months
Total number of prizes: 25
Total retail value of all prizes: $500

Each winning membership will be assigned to the appropriate Florida Pet Directories regional community based on the winner's Florida location.

Pawprint Plus memberships allow members to create personalized pet profiles, share photos and videos, and access applicable membership features.

Prizes have no cash redemption value, are nontransferable, and cannot be exchanged for other products or services.

Winning memberships will be provided at no charge and will not automatically convert into paid subscriptions at expiration.

6. Winner Selection

Twenty-five winners will be selected through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period.

All eligible entries statewide will be combined into one drawing pool. No specific number of winners is reserved for any individual Florida pet community.

Each eligible participant has an equal chance of selection. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

The drawing will be administered by Florida Pet Directories LLC.

7. Winner Announcement and Notification

Winners will be announced on November 6, 2026, through the official Florida Pet Directories Facebook page.

The Sponsor may also attempt to contact selected winners through Facebook, where permitted.

Selected winners must contact the Sponsor within seven calendar days of the announcement to claim their prize.

If a selected winner does not respond within that period, is ineligible, or declines the prize, an alternate winner will be selected randomly from the remaining eligible entries.

No payment or credit card information will be required to claim a prize.

8. Prize Activation

Winners will receive instructions for activating their complimentary annual Pawprint Plus membership.

Winners may be required to provide their name, email address, and Florida city to verify eligibility and establish their membership.

Each membership will be assigned to the regional Florida Pet Directories community serving the winner's location.

The 12-month membership period will begin upon activation.

Prizes must be activated within 30 calendar days after the winner receives activation instructions, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Sponsor.

9. Entry Verification and Disqualification

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify entries that:

Violate these Official Rules.
Are fraudulent, automated, or submitted through deceptive means.
Contain content that infringes upon another party's rights.
Include inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful material.
Are submitted outside the Giveaway Period.

Disqualification decisions will be based on these published criteria and applied consistently.

The Sponsor reserves the right to address technical difficulties, fraud, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control in a manner consistent with applicable law and fair treatment of participants.

10. Photograph Permissions

Participants retain ownership of their submitted photographs.

By entering, participants grant Florida Pet Directories LLC permission to display their submitted photograph, pet's name, and Florida city in connection with administering, promoting, and announcing the results of this Giveaway, without additional compensation.

The Sponsor will not claim ownership of submitted photographs.

11. Privacy

Information collected in connection with this Giveaway will be used to administer the promotion, verify eligibility, contact winners, and deliver prizes.

Personal information will not be sold to third parties.

Entering the Giveaway does not automatically subscribe participants to marketing emails.

Information will be handled in accordance with the Sponsor's published privacy policy.

12. Facebook Disclaimer and Release

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta Platforms, Inc.

Participants acknowledge that they are providing information to Florida Pet Directories LLC, not Facebook.

By entering, participants release Facebook and Meta Platforms, Inc. from claims arising out of or relating to this Giveaway, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

13. General Conditions

Participation constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules.

The Sponsor will administer the Giveaway fairly and in accordance with applicable Florida law.

The Sponsor is not responsible for Facebook platform interruptions, technical malfunctions, or entries that are not received due to circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Nothing in these Official Rules limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived.
